As we head towards the end of this module I want to highlight a few things

Blogs

Look at as many blogs as you can - read every blog being written by the group - and look again at the project brief and consider whether or not your blog is of the standard required. Check over the contributions you've made against the expectations laid out in the brief and the weekly wiki posts. Look at your postings and ask yourself whether they are of the standard expected from a  third year undergraduate nearing graduation. As I write this (12/02) some blogs don't meet the required number of posts, others haven't completed all the activities expected and some are predominantly one-line posts or make unsubstantiated claims or simply make no sense. I have no problem with "off topic" postings as long as the stuff which should be there is there and demonstrates that you have appropriate graduatable skills but right now some of you will fail 50% of this course because you won't get marks for your blog.

Project

There are four weeks left in which to deliver the project. As with the blogs I'm expecting work of a standard which fairly represents the efforts of four or five graduates working over a couple of months. 50% of your final mark will come from the project.

Attendance

This course isn't simply about working in a group and producing the final project. If you can't come to the Monday sessions please have the courtesy to let Lynda Dyson know as soon as possible. If you miss three sessions through the module Lynda and I will discuss whether or not you can successfully complete.

One of the topics we discussed in the first session was about showing each other respect - please respect other members of the group by attending sessions punctually each Monday and  contributing to the group.
